Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. 19 October 2023 – RAK Digital Assets Oasis (RAK DAO) is proud to host its official Launch Event on Thursday, October 19th, 2023 at the Al Hamra International Exhibition and Convention Center. Held under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, the event marks a ground-breaking occasion in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), celebrating the start of RAK DAO’s journey as the world’s first and only common law Free Zone dedicated to global digital and virtual assets companies.

RAK DAO empowers innovators in their journey to build the future of Web3 and blockchain technology across industries, promising to disrupt traditional business models and unlock the full potential of digital assets. The eagerly anticipated launch event for the Free Zone marks the start of a new era of Web3 collaboration in the UAE.

The RAK DAO Launch Event brings together international visionaries, influential figures, and government dignitaries, among others, addressing pivotal themes including the intersection of AI and digital assets, digital asset regulations, Web2-to-Web3 transition, CBDC’s, and blockchain's impact on traditional businesses.

Commencing with an opening speech from His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, followed by a historic MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) signing between RAK DAO and SCA (Securities and Commodities Authority), the event marks a significant milestone in the digital evolution of Ras Al Khaimah.
